Preparation for Assemblies & in classroom ILUCs
($150 an hour, suggested minimum 2 hours $300)
($150 an hour, suggested minimum 2 hours $300)
We highly recommend that all staff & teaching personnel who might be engaging in the assembly & ILUCs in their classrooms be in this meeting (Zoom preferred) in order for all questions to be heard & responded to as completely as possible before the assembly & in class ILUCs.
There shall be at least one virtual meeting with all necessary individuals
A detailed document of protocols and responsibilities will be co-created during this meeting, which shall be edited and revised asynchronously until the terms are agreed upon
All members of this Planning Circle shall be included in all electronic communication
Pre Assembly ILUC ($575 - 775)
We encourage all staff & teaching personnel who might be engaging in the assembly & ILUCs in their classrooms to attend an ILUC (Zoom possible) in order to understand from personal experience what an Indigenous Led Unlearning Conversation is.
Your educational institution can request an ILUC specifically scheduled for your site or your staff & teaching personnel can attend a public ILUC, if one is scheduled before hosting an ILUC at your site.
Should there be a public ILUC prescheduled, there would be no cost for your institution.
ILUC Assembly ($550 - $750)
Our honorariums are
$250 per co-facilitator
$300 for our tech
additional $200 for invited Indigenous guests
Fees are based upon length of assembly & total number of students in attendance of each assembly. We are open to negotiating a sliding scale for multiple assemblies scheduled throughout the school year, rather than just engaging with us during Native American Heritage Month & leading up to Turkey Day.
We strongly encourage schools and organizations connecting & collaborating with us to be aware of the tendency to only engage with Indigenous Peoples during November and to take actions to prevent that tokenism happening in their own schools & organizations.
In-class ILUC ($165 - 200)
Each ILUC in a classroom will be tailored to the grade level & discipline of that class.
Indigenous citizenship would be discussed in a civics class;
Indigenous Art would be discussed in an art class;
Indigenous literature in a literature class;
Indigenous Creation stories would be discussed in a world religions class;
and so on.
We strongly encourage educational institutions to prioritize scheduling ILUCs across the disciplines to provide students with a fuller understanding of Indigenous history, culture, and current realities.
Debrief ($150 an hour, suggested minimum 2 hours $300)
The Planning Circle will meet to debrief the weekend workshop
There shall be at least one virtual meeting with all necessary individuals
We believe that debriefing with staff & teaching personnel after our assemblies & in classroom ILUCs is not only valuable to all parties, but also a necessary action towards non-Indigenous educational institutions & other organizations understanding the work of decolonizing and Indigenizing curriculums and approaches to forming worldview of the younger generations.

Our tech person shall create and distribute (as needed)
